11/09/05 A serious student from Louisiana – She understood private lesson is extremely important to learn my system properly. Shirley took my private lesson a week ago. She is a very experienced trader from a small town in Louisiana. She had made few hundred thousands before. Then her system did not work well. She quitted when she was still $80,000 ahead. She bought my ebay package and studied well before she came for private lesson. She ask the right questions. She has joined Huang Club as member after the lesson. Here is her comment today. As an experienced trader, I recognized the merit of your system in the packet you originally sent me by email. As you had warned, it was not a professional presentation and the system was not a complex one. However, as I paper-traded it, I could see that it worked. In fact, I was making a little money with it as I paper-traded each day. The problem was that my winnings seemed like luck. So many different trading situations arose that I was never sure of my entrances and exits from the market. Deciding to take a private lesson with you was not an easy decision. I had to drive two hours to the "big city" airport, fly east an hour and a half for my connection in Atlanta, layover for two hours, fly five hours to LAX, rent a car, secure a hotel room, find my way on the LA freeways to Pasadena, etc., and then do it all in reverse to get home. Before the lesson was over, however, I was already telling you that it had been worth it. One of the first things I learned is that I should not be looking for a particular pattern to trade - I should be looking for a developing pattern. You helped me learn to watch the charts as the pattern develops and then act as the last piece falls into place. You helped me see that the pattern is not like looking at a molecule under a microscope. Because there are so many variables in the market, there will be variables in the pattern. You can compare it to watching a 1965 Ford Mustang with a dented bumper go around a block. It may be blue the first time it goes around, red the second, and have a cracked windshield the third time, but with practice watching for it you will learn to recognize it no matter what color it is the next time it comes around. In the private lesson you helped me learn to recognize the developing chart pattern in spite of the variables. You clarified and reinforced my understanding of entry and exit points and also corrected one element of what I was looking for in the pattern. As any trader knows, small trading differences have a big impact on your bottom line. Anyone trading your system should not settle for getting it part right. If I had been a less experienced trader, more prone to rookie mistakes, the impact of your private lesson would have been even greater. I thought it was entirely worth the cost and effort required to take it, and I highly recommend it to all traders lucky enough to have discovered your system. Best regards, Shirley |
