Trading After News.

 

After the last 2 difficult mornings sessions, I waited for the Flash Manufacturing PMI figures to be released this afternoon at 2.45pm GMT, precisely 15 minutes after New York market open.

Market was in a retracement phase before the news and I was thinking that might change after the figures were released, however the news was not much different than expected and therefore there were no surprises as such. I used order flow with my setup to hit my target in just 15 mins!

Notice my entries and exits at the highs and lows of each 1 minute bar that I traded with precision. This is called being in sync with the market, there is no if and but in your thought process, you simply take the trades and exit with a profit and re-enter until you trade the setup to exhaustion.

Market broke lower a minute or 2 later but I'm not in the business of catching home runs with price breakouts, I enjoy trading with certainty keeping risk under control while I take small bites out of price fluctuations which add up to a nice chunk of profit.
